The RLI Curriculum
The Lone Star RLI Division and member districts conduct over 20 events each year. The program consists of the separate sessions, Part I, Part II, and Part III. Attendees progress through the three parts on separate days and complete the program at their own pace.
Each session is highly interactive and, therefore, contains a minimum of lecturing and provides lots of opportunity for participants to share their experience and ideas. The sessions are led by Facilitators who have been trained in the facilitation techniques that maximize the learning experience.

About Our Curriculum
The Lone Star Division of RLI receives its master curriculum from RLI International, which provides outlines and core content to all divisions. The RLI International Curriculum has been continually revised and upgraded over the years, with major updates typically provided every three years to allow divisions time to orient faculty and translate materials as needed.
Upon receiving the master curriculum, the Lone Star Division Curriculum Committee reviews and updates resource materials and activities to align with the goals and objectives. This includes incorporating the most up-to-date information and best practices to ensure sessions remain relevant, engaging, and impactful for our participants.
RLI graduates are encouraged to share their feedback and suggestions for improving the curriculum with the Lone Star Division Curriculum Committee. Insights from participants help us enhance course content, activities, and delivery methods to better meet the needs of future learners. Your experience matters—contributions from graduates play an important role in shaping the ongoing development of our programs.
